BOT 360F - Families of Vascular Plants
ERICACEAE (Vaccinioideae) - Vaccinium spp. from Description des plantes principales de l'Amerique septentrionale published in 1744 by Pierre François-Xavier de Charlevoix
Vaccinium spp. from Charlevoix (1744)

Charlevoix spent a few years in New France before preparing this work as a supplement to volume 4 of the Histoire et description générale de la Nouvelle-France. His book included material taken from the manuscript Histoire des plantes de Canada as well as from many other sources, including ones by Cornut, Catesby, and descriptions and specimens sent to France by Sarrazin, as described by Pierre-Simon Doyon on his site, TROIS ENQUETES ICONOGRAPHIQUES.
