Fieldtrip to the WILDLIFE RESEARCH STATION in the ALGONQUIN PROVINCIAL PARK
This fieldtrip is OPTIONAL, but I strongly recommend you to participate. It is an important part of your training in Mycology. NO, you won't be penalized if you don't participate. I organize this fieldtrip to guide students in Mycology for discovering fungi in their natural habitats, learning more about fieldwork in biology, and enjoying the outdoors. This fieldtrip can also contribute to gather material for the first Lab Report.
Departure from the campus will be in the late afternoon on Friday TBA (the earlier, the better to avoid traffic - dpt time to be arranged at your convenience). We will be back to Toronto Sunday evening around 5-6pm. Transportation is by bus, and is paid by the Department. The Cost is $66 per student for cabin accommodation and meals at the Station. Registration & payment are due by Thursday 25 Sept. at the latest.
